The defendants told the court that they did not know they had to come to court with their lawyer and asked the court 10 days in order to have lawyers. The most interesting thing is that G. Grigoryan and A. Manukyan, being policemen for many years, were not aware of the fact that they have right to a lawyer which is provided by law.
It’s worth mentioning that there were not any victims and the witnesses were police servicemen.
