From 1370 members of the House 913 took part in the elections. There were three candidates and Ara Zohrabyan received 713, Tigran Atanesyan 94 and Kromvel Grigoryan 87 votes.
Tigran Atanesyan and Kromvel Grigoryan congratulated the new elected chairman and announced that elections were held on a necessary level.
According to the lawyer of Helsinki Association Gayane Khacatryan there will no significant changes after the elections. She says that Zohrabyan is a good lawyer however for the chairmanship there are several features such as organization talent, will to go against the authorities and others.
