The Activist of the Armenian National Congress Tigran Arakelyan was Arrested
Remember, on July 01, 2009 T. Arakelyan underwent beatings in Abovian street while distributing flyers informing about the rally of the Armenian National Congress. T. Arakelyan was hit in the head with a pistol handle. And then he was taken to hospital of Nor Nork by ambulance together with two other beaten young activists.

Trial of Gohar Veziryan Was Over
On August 6 2008 at 14:40 during the trial of S. Ayvazyan, held in the Court of First Instance of Kentron and Nork-Marash districts, Yerevan Gohar Veziryan exhibited disrespectful behaviour towards the Court (judge G. Poghosyan). The accusation was fully grounded by testimonies of court officers. According to them G. Veziryan called the judge “schizophrenic” and “marionette”. However, expert V. The trial over Gagik Shamshyan was over
G. Shamshyan was convicted of Article 343, part 3 of Criminal Code of RA and the court imposed a fine a 350.000 AMD. After the trial, G. Shamshyan stated that the verdict is illegal and he would appeal it.
